The correct option is E. The population size will drop until the numbers reach the carrying capacity.
When the population of a species exceeds its carrying capacity, the resources that the environment provides, such as food, water, and shelter, become limited, leading to competition among individuals for these resources.
As competition increases, more individuals will struggle to survive, and the population size will decline until it reaches the carrying capacity. In this case, the carrying capacity of the deer population is 945, which is less than the current population of 1,100.

What was a short-term consequence of Shays's Rebellion?
Shays's Rebellion was a significant event that occurred in the United States in 1786 and 1787. It was a rebellion of farmers and other citizens against the state government of Massachusetts, led by Daniel Shays, due to the heavy taxation and lack of paper money.
The Articles of Confederation was the first governing document of the United States, but it proved to be ineffective in dealing with issues such as taxation and national security. The rebellion made it clear that a stronger central government was necessary to maintain order and protect the nation's interests. As a result, the Constitutional Convention was called in 1787 to create a new constitution that would establish a stronger national government. One of the short-term consequences of this rebellion was the creation of a sense of urgency among the leaders of the United States to call for a revision of the Articles of Confederation.

evaluate the extent the articles of confederation were effective in solving the problems of the new nation.
The Articles of Confederation, adopted in 1781, were the first governing document of the new nation. The document established a weak central government that gave more power to the states. However, the Articles had several limitations and were not effective in solving the problems of the new nation.
The Articles of Confederation lacked the power to regulate trade, levy taxes, and establish a national currency. This led to economic chaos and inflation. Additionally, the central government had no control over the state militias, which made it difficult to maintain law and order. The lack of a strong central government also made it challenging to conduct foreign affairs. The United States was not taken seriously on the international stage, and many countries refused to trade with the new nation.
In conclusion, the Articles of Confederation were not effective in solving the problems of the new nation. They were too weak and limited in their powers, leading to economic instability and difficulty maintaining law and order. The weaknesses of the Articles ultimately led to the creation of the U.S. Constitution in 1787, which established a stronger central government and addressed the issues that the Articles failed to solve.

explain how colonization may have impacted the
language, religion, and culture in Peru (1-2 sentences).
Colonization significantly impacted the language, religion, and culture in Peru, primarily due to the Spanish conquest in the 16th century.
The Spanish introduced their language, customs, and Catholicism, resulting in a blend of indigenous and Spanish elements that form modern-day Peruvian culture.
Spanish language influence : Before colonization, various indigenous languages were spoken in Peru, such as Quechua and Aymara. With the arrival of the Spanish, their language became dominant, and today, Spanish is the official language of Peru, spoken by a majority of the population.
However, the influence of indigenous languages remains, as they are still spoken in certain regions and have influenced Peruvian Spanish vocabulary and pronunciation.
Introduction of Catholicism : Prior to colonization, the native people of Peru practiced their traditional religions, including worshiping Inca gods. The Spanish introduced Catholicism, converting the indigenous population through evangelization and, in some cases, force.
Today, the majority of Peruvians identify as Roman Catholic, with various indigenous beliefs and practices incorporated into their religious customs.
Cultural blending : The colonization of Peru led to a blending of indigenous and Spanish cultures, creating a unique mestizo culture. This is evident in various aspects of Peruvian life, such as cuisine, music, and art, which combine elements from both Spanish and indigenous traditions.
Additionally, many traditional customs and festivals now include a mixture of Catholic and indigenous elements.
In summary, colonization greatly impacted the language, religion, and culture of Peru through the introduction of the Spanish language, Catholicism, and the blending of indigenous and Spanish traditions. This has resulted in the rich, diverse cultural landscape that characterizes Peru today.
