At recess, I saw the boy again. He was sitting alone on a bench and I decided to go talk to him. I asked him about his bow tie and he told me that it was a gift from his grandmother. She made it herself and he wears it to remember her. I thought that was really sweet. We ended up talking for a while and he's actually a pretty cool guy.
